How do I win a puzzle?

Reach the score target before your turns run out. Place numbers from your hand using Sudoku rules, then End Turn to bank your score. You do not need to fill every square.

Where is the tutorial?

Open Settings using the gear button. You can replay the guided tutorial from the main menu, or open How to play while a Book is open.

Does each Book keep its own progress?

Yes. Finishing a Book unlocks the next Obstacle for that Book. Books have different abilities, and progress in one does not unlock the others' Obstacles.

Can I stop partway through?

Your current run is saved on the device. When iCloud is available, the game also synchronizes progress between your devices. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting a saved game.

How do I turn the sound off?

Settings has separate Master, Music and Sound Effects volume sliders. Turn Master down to silence both music and effects.

Do I have to watch an ad?

No. In builds with rewarded videos, the out-of-turns screen can offer one optional video for three extra turns, once per puzzle. Your board, score and hand stay the same. You can choose End Book instead. A video may be unavailable when offline or when the ad provider cannot supply one.
